A method and apparatus for generating a metadata object having links to
temporal and spatial extents in a time-sequential digital signal is
disclosed. The method includes the following steps. Firstly, identifying
an object of interest in the time-sequential digital signal. Secondly,
defining a link entity between metadata in the metadata object and the
identified object, the link entity forming part of the metadata object.
Thirdly, tracking the identified object in the time-sequential digital
signal and updating the link entity in the metadata object to include the
identified object's new temporal and spatial extent in the time-sequential
digital signal. Finally, associating the generated metadata object with
the time-sequential digital signal.
Um método e um instrumento para gerar um metadata objetam tendo as ligações a temporal e as extensões spatial em um sinal digital tempo-seqüencial são divulgadas. O método inclui as seguintes etapas. Firstly, identificando um objeto do interesse no sinal digital tempo-seqüencial. Secondly, definindo uma entidade da ligação entre o metadata no objeto do metadata e no objeto identificado, a entidade da ligação que dá forma à parte do objeto do metadata.
