A circuit board assembly comprising a circuit board with a recessed end
portion, and an optical transceiver module mounted on a daughter board.
The daughter board is mounted on the circuit board so that a portion of
the daughter board extends over the recess of the circuit board. The
optical transceiver module mounted on the daughter board is then
positioned in the recess of the circuit board.
