A terpolymer comprising monomer units derived from an olefin having more
than 40 carbon atoms, maleic anhydride, and an alkylallyl polyglycol ether
of the formula
R--(OCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2).sub.n O--CH.sub.2 --CH.dbd.CH.sub.2
where n=3-20 and R=C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl.
