than 3.5% by mass (% by mass is simply denoted by % hereinafter) of Si,
0.05 to 0.5% of Mg, 0.5% or more and less than 1.2% of Cu, 0.6 to 1.5% of
Mn, 0.5 to 1.6% of Zn, and 0.3 to 2.0% of Fe, and containing, if
necessary, at least one of 0.01 to 0.2% of Cr, 0.01 to 0.2% of Zr, 0.01 to
0.2% of V, and 0.01 to 0.2% of Ti, with the balance of Al and unavoidable
impurities. A method of producing the aluminum alloy sheet material, which
method contains carrying out specific workings.
