A behind-the-ear hearing aid, which extends basically like a tube along an
axis and has a battery compartment (29) on the end. Instead of a battery,
the plug part (34) of an additional module (51) can be plugged in, and a
corresponding battery compartment is then provided in the additional
module (51).
