The invention relates to a process cartridge mounting mechanism for
mounting a process cartridge to a mounting position in a main assembly of
an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. The process cartridge
mounting mechanism includes an openable cover mounted to the main
assembly. The cover is opened and closed when the cartridge is mounted to
or demounted from the main assembly. The mechanism also includes a first
main assembly side guide, which is provided in the main assembly and which
is movable in interrelation with opening and closing operation of the
cover; a second main assembly side guide, which is movable in
interrelation with opening and closing operation of the cover; a first
cartridge guide, provided in the cartridge at one longitudinal end of a
cartridge frame, for guiding the cartridge toward the mounting position;
and a second cartridge guide, provided in the cartridge at one
longitudinal end of a cartridge frame, for guiding the cartridge toward
the mounting position. The cartridge is mounted to the mounting position
in interrelations with a closing operation of the cover.
Die Erfindung bezieht auf einer Prozeßpatrone Montageeinheit für die Befestigung einer Prozeßpatrone in eine Montageposition in einem Hauptzusammenbau eines elektrofotografischen Bildes, das Apparat bildet. Die Prozeßpatrone Montageeinheit schließt eine zu öffnende Abdeckung ein, die zur Hauptversammlung angebracht wird. Die Abdeckung ist geöffnet und geschlossen, wenn die Patrone zu angebracht wird oder von der Hauptversammlung demontiert. Die Einheit schließt auch einen erste Hauptversammlung seitlichen Führer ein, der in der Hauptversammlung zur Verfügung gestellt wird und der in der Wechselbeziehung mit Öffnung und schließendem Betrieb der Abdeckung beweglich ist; ein zweite Hauptversammlung seitlicher Führer, der in der Wechselbeziehung mit Öffnung und schließendem Betrieb der Abdeckung beweglich ist; ein erster Patrone Führer, vorausgesetzt in der Patrone bei einem Längsende eines Patrone Rahmens, für das Führen der Patrone in Richtung zur Montageposition; und ein zweiter Patrone Führer, vorausgesetzt in der Patrone bei einem Längsende eines Patrone Rahmens, für das Führen der Patrone in Richtung zur Montageposition. Die Patrone wird in die Montageposition in den Wechselbeziehungen mit einem schließenden Betrieb der Abdeckung angebracht.
