Thiram (tetramethyliuram disulfide) is shown to inhibit angiogenesis and/or
inflammation and to be useful in the treatment of angiogenesis-dependent
disorders, including neoplasms, and in the inhibition, treatment and
allevation of inflammation associated with several disorders and diseases,
such as rheumatoid arthritis. Thiram is further useful for prevention of
cell hyperproliferation and formation of clots along or around medical
devices.
