A protective winter turf cover is formed with a layered polyethylene
laminated sheet with each layer having force striations running at an
angle to the edge of the sheet and with the force striations of one layer
at an angle to the force striations of the adjacent layer, the resulting
turf cover being lightweight, compactly foldable, and substantially
impermeable to water.
