The present invention relates to an improvement in an exhaust system
structure for a motorcycle. A motorcycle has an engine disposed between
front and rear wheels, an exhaust pipe extending from the engine, and a
silencer connected to the exhaust pipe for discharging exhaust gases. The
silencer, which is a heavy object, is of the type having a gas outlet
disposed near a gas inlet. The silencer is disposed below the engine with
the gas inlet facing toward the rear wheel, and the exhaust pipe extends
to a position near the rear wheel and is connected to the gas inlet of the
silencer. By elongating the length of the exhaust pipe and placing the
silencer under the engine, the exhaust system performs sufficiently with
high output engines, while at the same time lowers the center of gravity
of a motorcycle body and balances the weight of the motorcycle body in its
longitudinal direction.
La presente invenzione riguarda un miglioramento in una struttura del sistema di scarico per un motociclo. Un motociclo ha un motore disposto di fra le rotelle anteriore e posteriore, un tubo di scarico che si estendono dal motore e un silenziatore collegato al tubo di scarico per scaricare i gas di scarico. Il silenziatore, che è un oggetto pesante, è del tipo che ha una presa del gas disposta di vicino ad un ingresso del gas. Il silenziatore è disposto di sotto il motore con i rivestimenti dell'ingresso del gas verso la rotella posteriore ed il tubo di scarico estendere ad una posizione vicino alla rotella posteriore ed è collegato all'ingresso del gas del silenziatore. Prolungando la lunghezza del tubo di scarico e disponendo il silenziatore sotto il motore, il sistema di scarico effettua sufficientemente con gli alti motori dell'uscita, mentre allo stesso tempo abbassa il centro di gravità di un corpo del motociclo ed equilibra il peso del corpo del motociclo nel relativo senso longitudinale.
