A process for reducing free aldehydes in dispersions, suspensions,
emulsions and solutions which comprises including therein thioamine
compound of the formula IV and optionally a thioamine of the formula III:

where R.sub.1 is a C.sub.1-5 alkyl radical, an aryl radical or hydrogen,
R.sub.2 is --(COO).sub.a --E or --(CONH).sub.a --E where a is 0 or 1 and
E, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, and R.sub.5 are independently R.sub.4 and R.sub.5
together containing at least one carbon atom, and n being 0 or 1.
Процесс для уменьшения свободно альдегидов в рассеиваниях, подвесах, эмульсиях и разрешениях которое состоит из включая в этом смесь thioamine формулы IV и опционно thioamine формулы III: ## ## STR1 где R.sub.1 будет алкиловым радикалом C.sub.1-5, ариловым радикалом или водоподом, R.sub.2 будет -- --E (COO).sub.a или -- --E (CONH).sub.a где а 0 или 1 и е, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, и R.sub.5 будут независимо R.sub.4 и R.sub.5 совместно содержа по крайней мере один атом углерода, и н 0 или 1.
