An operating screw includes a core and an outer member enclosing the core.
The core is rotatable about a rotation axis. The outer member is formed
with a spiral groove. The outer member is provided with a plurality of
curved surfaces and flat surfaces. The curved surfaces alternate with the
curved surfaces, as viewed along the spiral groove of the outer member.
