A method for running a software application on a computer having an
operating system that provides a local database containing consistent
configuration data to be accessed by programs running on the computer. The
method includes providing a file containing further configuration data
required by the application, which further data are not stored in the
local database. A request by the application to access the local database
is intercepted, and an item of the further configuration data is returned
from the file to the application, responsive to the request.
Une méthode pour courir une application de logiciel sur un ordinateur ayant un logiciel d'exploitation qui fournit une base de données locale contenant à données conformées de configuration à consulter par des programmes fonctionnant sur l'ordinateur. La méthode inclut fournir un dossier contenant d'autres configuration eus besoin par l'application, que d'autres données ne sont pas stocké dans la base de données locale. Une demande de l'application d'accéder à la base de données locale est arrêtée, et un article des données supplémentaires de configuration est retourné à partir du dossier à l'application, sensible à la demande.
