This invention relates to a process for carrying out an anionically or
cationically catalytically accelerated gas phase reaction and particularly
relates to a process for carrying out a catalytically accelerated gas
phase polymerization reaction. The process involves the step of
introducing a catalyst ion into a gaseous reaction mixture as a free anion
or cation without a corresponding counterion and substantially solvent
free. The catalyst of this invention ca, for example, be a Ziegler-Natta
catalyst or a metallocene catalyst. The gas phase reaction that is
catalyzed can, for example, be a metathesis reaction, a metathesis
ring-opening polymerization reaction, or a gas phase polymerization.
Diese Erfindung bezieht auf einem Prozeß für das Durchführen anionisch oder kationisch katalytisch beschleunigte Gasphasereaktion und bezieht besonders auf einem Prozeß für das Durchführen einer katalytisch beschleunigten Gasphase-Polymerisierungreaktion. Der Prozeß bezieht den Schritt des Einführens eines Katalysatorions in ein gasförmiges Reaktionsgemisch als freies Anion oder Kation ohne ein entsprechendes counterion und im wesentlichen ein lösendes freies mit ein. Der Katalysator dieser Erfindung Ca z.B. ist ein Ziegler-Natta Katalysator oder ein metallocene Katalysator. Die Gasphasereaktion, die katalysiert wird, kann z.B. eine Metathesisreaktion, eine Metathesis Ring-Öffnung Polymerisierungreaktion oder eine Gasphasepolymerisierung sein.
