To provide a technique for relatively easily preventing yellowing of a PDP
that uses silver electrodes, and a PDP utilizing the technique that is
capable of displaying images with high luminance and high quality. To form
the electrodes, an alloy composed of Ag as a main constituent and a
transition metal (at least one selected from Cu, Cr, Co, Ni, Mn, and Fe)
is used, or an oxide of such a transition metal is added. Alternatively,
an alloy composed of Ag as a main constituent and a metal (at least one
selected from Ru, Rh, Ir, Os, and Re) is used, or an oxide of such a metal
is added. Alternatively, Ag particles whose surfaces are each coated with
a metal (Pd, Cu, Cr, Ni, Ir, or Ru) or a metal oxide (SiO.sub.2, Al.sub.2
O.sub.3, NiO, ZrO.sub.2, Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, ZnO, In.sub.2 O.sub.3, CuO,
TiO.sub.2, or Pr.sub.6 O.sub.11) are used.
Eine Technik für das Gelb färben eines PDP verhältnismäßig leicht verhindern, das silberne Elektroden benutzt und ein PDP zur Verfügung stellen, welches die Technik verwendet, die zu graphischen Darstellungen mit hoher Helligkeit und hoher Qualität fähig ist. Um die Elektroden zu bilden, wird eine Legierung, die aus AG als Hauptbestandteil bestehen und ein Übergang Metall (man mindestens wählte vom Cu, vom Cr, von Co, von Ni, von Mangan und von F.E.) vor oder ein Oxid solch eines Übergang Metalls wird hinzugefügt benutzt. Wechselweise wird eine Legierung, die aus AG als Hauptbestandteil bestehen und ein Metall (eins mindestens vorgewählt von Ru, von relativer Feuchtigkeit, von Ir, OS und Re) oder ein Oxid solch eines Metalls wird hinzugefügt benutzt. Wechselweise werden AG Partikel deren Oberflächen jede mit einem Metall (Palladium, Cu, Cr, Ni, Ir oder Ru) beschichtet werden, oder ein Metalloxid (SiO.sub.2, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, NiO, ZrO.sub.2, Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, ZnO, In.sub.2 O.sub.3, CuO, TiO.sub.2 oder Pr.sub.6 O.sub.11) benutzt.
