Method and system for indicating that at least one row or column of a DVD
data block has an uncorrectable number of errors, by marking or flagging
the corrupted codewords of a codeword with defect detect signals. When a
column (or row) of the data block is found to contain more than a
thereshold number of errors, a selected number w of distinguishable
codeword values (DSVs) "x" is associated with at least one column (or with
at least one row) of the block. When the block is further processed and
the presence of more than a threshold number of DSVs is sensed, the system
interprets this occurrence as indicating that an uncorrectable group of
errors has occurred in a column and/or row of the block.
Il metodo ed il sistema per indicare che almeno una fila o colonna di un blocchetto di dati di DVD ha un numero uncorrectable di errori, contrassegnando o inbandierando i codici corrotti di un codice con il difetto rilevano i segnali. Quando una colonna (o fila) del blocchetto di dati è trovata per contenere più di un numero del thereshold di errori, un numero selezionato W di codice distinguibile stima (DSVs)"la x" è associato con almeno una colonna (o con almeno una fila) del blocco. Quando il blocco più ulteriormente è proceduto e la presenza di più di un numero della soglia di DSVs è percepita, il sistema interpreta questo caso come indicando che un gruppo uncorrectable degli errori si è presentato in una colonna e/o in una fila del blocco.
