The purpose of the present invention is to provide a softener composition
which suppresses for a long time body smell derived from sweat etc. and is
excellent in the softening effect. That is, the present invention relates
to a softener composition comprising:
(a) a quaternary ammonium compound represented by the formula (1):

wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently represent a C.sub.12-22 alkyl or
alkenyl group, X and Y are independently --COO--, --CONR.sup.7 --, --OCO--
or --NR.sup.7 CO--, provided that at least one of X and Y is --COO-- or
--OCO--, R.sup.7 represents a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1-3 alkyl or
hydroxyalkyl group, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 independently represent a
C.sub.1-5 alkylene group, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 represent a C.sub.1-3 alkyl
or hydroxyalkyl group or R.sup.1 --X--R.sup.3 -- and Z.sup.- is an anionic
group,
(b) a quaternary ammonium compound represented by the formula (2):

wherein R.sup.8 represents a C.sub.12-22 alkyl or alkenyl group, W is a
group selected from --COO--, --CONR.sup.7 --, --OCO-- and --NR.sup.7 CO--,
R.sup.7 represents a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1-3 alkyl or hydroxyalkyl
group, preferably a hydrogen atom, R.sup.9 represents a C.sub.1-5 alkylene
group, R.sup.10 and R.sup.11 represent a C.sub.1-3 alkyl or hydroxyalkyl
group, R.sup.12 represents a C.sub.1-3 alkyl group or --R.sup.26 --OH,
R.sup.26 is a C.sub.1-5 alkylene group and Z.sup.- is an anionic group,
and
a compound selected from the following component (c) or (d):
(c) 0.1 to 15% by weight of a compound represented by the formula (3)
and/or formula (4):

or a linkage, R.sup.16 represents a C.sub.1-3 alkylene group, R.sup.17
represents a C.sup.1-6 alkylene group or --(O--R.sup.19).sub.n --,
R.sup.19 is ethylene group or propylene group and n is a number of 1 to 10
and W.sup.- is an anionic group, and
(d) 0.01 to 15% by weight of a compound represented by the formula (5):

wherein 2 or 3 groups out of R.sup.20, R.sup.21, R.sup.22 and R.sup.23
represent a C.sub.8-12, alkyl group, the remainder of them represent a
C.sub.1-3 alkyl group, a C.sub.1-3 hydroxyalkyl group or a C.sub.7-15
arylalkyl group and Z.sup.- is an anionic group.
El propósito de la actual invención es proporcionar una composición del suavizador que suprima durante mucho tiempo el olor del cuerpo derivado del sudor etc. y es excelente en el efecto que ablanda. Es decir, la actual invención se relaciona con abarcar de la composición del suavizador: (a) un compuesto del amonio de cuaternario representado por el fórmula (1): ## del ## STR1 en donde R.sup.1 y R.sup.2 representan independientemente a un alkyl C.sub.12-22 o a grupo alkenyl, X y Y son independientemente -- el coo --. -- CONR.sup.7 --. -- oco -- o -- NR.sup.7 CO --. a condición de que por lo menos uno de X y de Y es -- coo -- o -- el oco --. R.sup.7 representa un átomo del hidrógeno o un grupo del alkyl C.sub.1-3 o hydroxyalkyl, un R.sup.3 y un R.sup.4 representan independientemente un grupo del alkylene C.sub.1-5, R.sup.5 y R.sup.6 representan un alkyl C.sub.1-3 o un grupo hydroxyalkyl o un R.sup.1 -- X -- R.sup.3 -- y Z.sup. - es un grupo aniónico, (b) un compuesto del amonio de cuaternario representó por el fórmula (2): ## del ## STR2 en donde R.sup.8 representa a un alkyl C.sub.12-22 o a grupo alkenyl, W es un grupo seleccionado a partir -- el coo --. -- de CONR.sup.7 --. -- oco -- y -- NR.sup.7 CO --. R.sup.7 representa un átomo del hidrógeno o un grupo del alkyl C.sub.1-3 o hydroxyalkyl, preferiblemente un átomo del hidrógeno, R.sup.9 representa un grupo del alkylene C.sub.1-5, R.sup.10 y R.sup.11 representan a un alkyl C.sub.1-3 o a grupo hydroxyalkyl, R.sup.12 representa un grupo alkyl C.sub.1-3 o -- R.sup.26 --OH, R.sup.26 es un grupo del alkylene C.sub.1-5 y un Z.sup. - es un grupo aniónico, y un compuesto seleccionado del componente siguiente (c) o (d): (c) 0.1 a el 15% en peso de un compuesto representado por el fórmula (3) y/o el fórmula (4): ## del ## STR3 en donde R.sup.13 y R.sup.18 representan independientemente a un alkyl C.sub.5-19 o a grupo alkenyl, R.sup.14 y R.sup.15 representan independientemente un alkyl C.sub.1-3 o el grupo y T hydroxyalkyl es -- coo --. -- el oco --. -- el conh --. -- nhco --. ## del ## STR4 o un acoplamiento, R.sup.16 representa un grupo del alkylene C.sub.1-3, R.sup.17 representa un grupo del alkylene C.sup.1-6 o -- (O -- R.sup.19).sub.n --. R.sup.19 es grupo del etileno o el grupo del propylene y n es un número de 1 a de 10 y de W.sup. - es un grupo aniónico, y (d) 0.01 a el 15% en peso de un compuesto representado por el fórmula (5): ## del ## STR5 en donde 2 o 3 grupos fuera de R.sup.20, R.sup.21, R.sup.22 y R.sup.23 representan un C.sub.8-12, el grupo alkyl, el resto de él representa un grupo alkyl C.sub.1-3, un grupo hydroxyalkyl C.sub.1-3 o un grupo del arylalkyl C.sub.7-15 y un Z.sup. - es un grupo aniónico.
