A crosslinking agent is provided, prepared by reacting (A) an aminoplast
resin; (B) a reactive urethane group-containing adduct and (C) at least
one other compound having active hydrogen groups reactive with aminoplast
resin (A). Compound (C) is selected from:
(i) compounds having the structure (I):

wherein X is aromatic; R.sup.1, R.sup.2, and R.sup.3 each independently
represents H, (cyclo)alkyl having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, aryl,
alkaryl, aralkyl, or an active hydrogen-containing group,
(ii) compounds having the structure (II) or (III):

where R' and R" each independently represents an aromatic group or an
alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms; and
(iii) compounds different from (i) and (ii), having a melting point of at
least 80.degree. C.
Further provided are methods for preparing the crosslinking agent curable
compositions containing the crosslinking agent, and coated substrates.
Un agente unente con legami atomici incrociati è fornito, preparato reagendo (A) una resina dell'amminoplasto; (B) un complesso gruppo-contenente dell'uretano reattivo e (C) almeno altro un residuo che ha gruppi attivi dell'idrogeno reattivi con la resina dell'amminoplasto (a). Il residuo (C) è selezionato a partire: (i) residui che hanno la struttura (i): ## del ## STR1 in cui la X è aromatica; R.sup.1, R.sup.2 e R.sup.3 ciascuno rappresenta indipendentemente la H, (cyclo)alkyl che ha 1 - 12 atomi di carbonio, arile, alchilarile, aralkyl, o un gruppo idrogeno-contenente attivo, (ii) residui aventi la struttura (ii) o (iii): ## del ## STR2 dove la R 'e la R "ciascuno rappresenta indipendentemente un aromatico raggruppi o un gruppo alchile che ha 1 - 12 atomi di carbonio; e (iii) residui differenti da (i) e (ii), avendo un punto di fusione almeno di 80.degree. C. Più ulteriormente sono forniti i metodi per la preparazione delle composizioni curabili unenti con legami atomici incrociati nell'agente che contengono l'agente unente con legami atomici incrociati ed i substrati rivestiti.
