Pyrrolotriazole compounds of the formula (I) and silver halide color
photographic light-sensitive materials containing the compound as a cyan
coupler, are disclosed:

wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each independently are an alkyl, cycloalkyl,
alkenyl, aryl or heterocyclic group, or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may bond
together to form a 5- or 6-membered nitrogen-containing heterocycle;
R.sup.3 is an alkyl, cycloalkyl or alkenyl group; R.sup.5 is an alkyl or
aryl group; R.sup.4, R.sup.6, R.sup.7 and R.sup.8 each independently are a
hydrogen atom or a substituent, with the proviso that at least one of
R.sup.4, R.sup.6, R.sup.7 and R.sup.8 is a substituent, and that two
groups of R.sup.4 to R.sup.8, which adjoin each other, do not bond
together to form any ring.
Os compostos de Pyrrolotriazole da fórmula (I) e do halide de prata colorem os materiais light-sensitive fotográficos que contêm o composto como um acoplador ciano, são divulgados: ## do ## STR1 wherein R.sup.1 e R.sup.2 cada um são independentemente um alkyl, um cycloalkyl, um alkenyl, um grupo aryl ou heterocyclic, ou um R.sup.1 e um R.sup.2 podem ligar-se junto para dar forma a uns 5- ou a um heterocycle 6-membered nitrogen-containing; R.sup.3 é um alkyl, um cycloalkyl ou um grupo alkenyl; R.sup.5 é um grupo alkyl ou aryl; R.sup.4, R.sup.6, R.sup.7 e R.sup.8 cada um são independentemente um átomo do hidrogênio ou um substituent, com o proviso que ao menos um de R.sup.4, R.sup.6, R.sup.7 e R.sup.8 é um substituent, e que dois grupos de R.sup.4 a R.sup.8, que se são contíguo com, não se liga junto para dar forma a nenhum anel.
