An aromatic nitrogen-containing 6-membered cyclic compound of the formula

wherein Ring A is a substituted or unsubstituted nitrogen-containing
heterocyclic group; R.sup.1 is a substituted or unsubstituted lower alkyl
group, --NH--Q--R.sup.3 (R.sup.3 is a substituted or unsubstituted
nitrogen containing heterocyclic group, and Q is a lower alkylene group or
a single bond), or --NH--R.sup.4 (R.sup.4 is a substituted or
unsubstituted cycloalkyl group); R.sup.2 is a substituted or unsubstituted
aryl group; one of Y and Z is .dbd.CH--, and the other is .dbd.N--, or a
pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, these compounds exhibiting
excellent selective PDE V inhibitory activities, and hence, being useful
in the prophylaxis or treatment of penile erectile dysfunction, etc.
Un residuo ciclico contenente azoto aromatico 6-membered della formula (i): ## del ## STR1 in cui l'anello A è sostituita o eterociclici contenenti azoto non sostituiti raggruppano; R.sup.1 è un gruppo alchile più basso sostituito o non sostituito, -- NH -- Q -- R.sup.3 (R.sup.3 è un azoto sostituito o non sostituito che contiene il gruppo eterociclico e la Q è un gruppo più basso dell'alchilene o un singolo legame), o -- il NH -- R.sup.4 (R.sup.4 è un gruppo sostituito o non sostituito di cycloalkyl); R.sup.2 è un gruppo arilico sostituito o non sostituito; uno di Y e Z è dbd.CH --. e l'altro è dbd.N --. o un sale farmaceuticamente accettabile di ciò, questi residui che esibiscono le attività inibitorie di PDE V selettivo eccellente e quindi, essendo utile nella profilassi o nel trattamento di disfunzione, ecc erectile penile.
