The present invention relates to novel proteins interacting with the
cytoplasmic domain of CD40, which are useful in the treatment of CD40
and/or NF-kB related diseases. Surprisingly, these proteins do not show
significant homology with the TRAF-protein family and therefore offer the
possibility to modulate the CD40 and/or NF-kB pathway independently from
the TRAF-CD40 interaction.
De onderhavige uitvinding heeft op nieuwe proteïnen betrekking die met het cytoplasmic domein van CD40 in wisselwerking staan, die in de behandeling van CD40 en/of nf-KB verwante ziekten nuttig zijn. Verrassend, tonen deze proteïnen geen significante homologie met de traf-Eiwitfamilie en bieden daarom de mogelijkheid om CD40 te moduleren en/of nf-KB weg onafhankelijk van de traf-CD40 interactie.
