An oral composition includes an oil extract of mastic and an
antiphlogistic. An oral hygiene method includes brushing teeth with a
dentifrice to which the oral composition has been added, and gargling with
a mouth wash which includes at least one extract of crude drug selected
from the group consisting of glycyrrhizae radix (glycyrrhiza), arecae
semen (betel nut), myristicae semen (nutmeg) and leonuri herba (leonurus
sibiricus).
