The invention provides a joined body of a first member made of a metal and
a second member made of a ceramic or a cermet. The joined body comprises a
joining portion interposed between the first member and the second member
for joining the first and second members. The joining portion comprises
main phase contacting the first member and an intermediate ceramic layer
existing between the second member and the main phase and contacting the
second member. The main phase is composed of a porous bone structure
having open pores and is made of a sintered product of metal powder, and a
ceramic phase impregnated into the open pores in the porous bone
structure. The joined structure has resistance to fatigue and fracture,
even when the structure is subjected to repeated thermal cycles between a
high temperature, for example 1000.degree. C. or higher, and room
temperature.
L'invention fournit un corps jointif d'un premier membre fait d'un métal et d'un deuxième membre fait d'un en céramique ou d'un cermet. Le corps jointif comporte une partie se joignante interposée entre le premier membre et le deuxième membre pour joindre les premiers et deuxièmes membres. La partie se joignante comporte la phase principale contactant le premier membre et une couche en céramique intermédiaire existant entre le deuxième membre et la phase principale et contactant le deuxième membre. La phase principale se compose de structure poreuse d'os ayant les pores ouverts et est faite d'un produit aggloméré de poudre en métal, et d'une phase en céramique imbibée dans les pores ouverts dans la structure poreuse d'os. La structure jointive a la résistance à la fatigue et à la rupture, même lorsque la structure est soumise aux cycles thermiques répétés entre une haute température, par exemple 1000.degree. C. ou plus haut, et température ambiante.
