The subject invention pertains to compositions and devices for controlling
insects and, in particular, houseflies. Insecticidal compositions of the
present invention comprise spinosad and, optionally, insect foodstuffs and
attractants. The devices of the invention are directed to a housefly bait
device that includes an insecticidal composition of the present invention.
The invention also concerns methods for controlling insects, such as
houseflies, using the present compositions and devices.
