Flame-retardant polyester monofilaments formed by extrusion from a mixture
consisting essentially of 5 to 20 weight percent melamine cyanurate and 3
to 10 weight percent organopolyphosphonate with the balance being either
poly(ethylene terephthalate) or poly(ethylene naphthalate).
