The invention relates to an in vitro method of recognizing acute coronary
syndroms, especially an acute myocardial infarction, by determining and
evaluating the content of choline, choline and/or trimethyl ammonium
derivatives selected from the group comprising phosphoryl choline,
plasmalogens, and lysoplasmenyl choline, and/or the reaction products
thereof selected from the group comprising 1-O-alk-1'-enyl-2 substituted
glycerol and 1-O-alk-1'-enyl-2 substituted glycerol phosphate in body
fluids or component parts of the body, said method comprising the
following steps:
drawing a sample of a suitable body fluid or component part of the body;
determining the content of choline, choline and/or trimethyl ammonium
derivatives selected from the group comprising phosphoryl choline,
plasmalogens, and lysoplasmenyl choline, and/or the reaction products
thereof selected from the group comprising 1-O-alk-1'-enyl-2 substituted
glycerol and 1-O-alk-1'-enyl-2 substituted glycerol phosphate by a
suitable method of determination (nuclear magnetic resonance methods,
biochemical, enzymatic, immunological, clinical-chemical, chromatographic,
mass spectrometric, electrochemical, photometric methods, or other
methods); and evaluating the measured results, taking into account a limit
value for recognition or exclusion of acute coronary syndroms, especially
an acute myocardial infarction.
De uitvinding heeft op een methode in vitro om scherpe coronaire syndroms, vooral een scherp myocardiaal infarct te erkennen, door de inhoud van choline, choline en/of trimethyl geselecteerde ammoniumderivaten te bepalen en te evalueren van de groep betrekking bestaand phosphoryl uit choline, plasmalogens, en lysoplasmenylcholine, en/of de reactieproducten die daarvan uit de groep bestaand 1-o-alk-1'-enyl-2 uit gesubstitueerde glycerol en 1-o-alk-1'-enyl-2 gesubstitueerd glycerolfosfaat in lichaamsvloeistoffen of samenstellende delen van het lichaam worden geselecteerd, bovengenoemde methode bestaand uit de volgende stappen: trekkend een steekproef van een geschikt lichaamsvloeistof of een samenstellend deel van het lichaam; bepalend de inhoud van choline, choline en/of trimethyl geselecteerde ammoniumderivaten van de groep die phosphoryl uit choline, plasmalogens, en lysoplasmenylcholine, en/of de reactieproducten bestaat die uit de groep 1-o-alk-1'-enyl-2 uit gesubstitueerde glycerol bestaan en 1-o-alk-1'-enyl-2 gesubstitueerd glycerolfosfaat die daarvan door een geschikte methode van bepaling worden geselecteerd (nuclear magnetic resonancemethodes, biochemische, enzymatische, immunologische, klinisch-chemische, chromatografische, massa spectrometrische, elektrochemische, photometric methodes, of andere methodes); en evaluerend de gemeten resultaten, die met een grenswaarde voor erkenning of uitsluiting van scherpe coronaire syndroms rekening houden, vooral een scherp myocardiaal infarct.
