The present invention relates to a method for quantifying the amount of
active transforming growth factor beta (TGF-.beta.) in biological samples.
In particular the method comprising incubating cryosections of a tissue
with cells which contain a TGF-.beta. responsive expression vector having
a structural region encoding an indicator protein and measuring the amount
of said indicator protein expressed from the cells.
La présente invention concerne une méthode pour mesurer la quantité de facteur de transformation actif de croissance bêta (TGF-.beta.) dans les échantillons biologiques. En particulier la méthode comportant des cryosections d'incubation d'un tissu avec les cellules qui contiennent un vecteur sensible d'expression de TGF-.beta. ayant une région structurale coder une protéine d'indicateur et mesurer la quantité de ladite protéine d'indicateur exprimée des cellules.
