A formulation for treating and preventing parasite infestations in horses,
dogs, cats, and other animals is provided. This formulation includes a
cestocidal agent, wherein the cestocidal agent is pyrantel, morantel, any
salt thereof, or any combination thereof. Preferably the formulation
additionally includes an edible non-aqueous liquid and a thickening agent.
The formulation of the present invention allows for a high concentration
of cestocidal agent.
Una formulación para tratar y prevenir infestaciones del parásito en caballos, perros, gatos, y otros animales se proporciona. Esta formulación incluye un agente cestocidal, en donde el agente cestocidal es pyrantel, morantel, cualquier sal de eso, o cualquier combinación de eso. La formulación incluye preferiblemente además a un líquido no acuoso comestible y a agente de espesamiento. La formulación de la actual invención permite una alta concentración del agente cestocidal.
