This invention is directed to compounds of the formula (I):

and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, and
R.sup.3 are as defined herein; intermediates for the synthesis of such
compounds, pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds; and
methods of using such compounds in the treatment of nicotine
addiction/withdrawal and CNS disorders.
Deze uitvinding wordt geleid aan samenstellingen van de formule (I): ## STR1 ## en hun farmaceutisch aanvaardbare zouten, waarin R.sup.1, R.sup.2, en R.sup.3 zoals hierin bepaald zijn; tussenpersonen voor de synthese van dergelijke samenstellingen, farmaceutische samenstellingen die dergelijke samenstellingen bevat; en methodes om dergelijke samenstellingen in de behandeling van van de nicotineverslaving/terugtrekking en CNS wanorde te gebruiken.
