A yacht includes a lower area (1), an upper area (2) or deck, a vertically
moveable roof (3) forming part of the craft and drive means for covering
or uncovering said upper area (2), e.g., hydraulically driven telescopic
bars (4). The roof (3) can include solar panels for energy generation and
its design keeps the external aesthetic line of the yacht when it is in
the closed position.
