The invention relates to novel non-naturally occurring cell surface
receptor analogs, ligand analogs and nucleic acids encoding them. The
invention further provides methods for screening of ligand analogs and
bioactive agents capable of modulating the signaling activity of a
non-naturally occurring cell surface receptor analog or capable of binding
to a non-naturally occurring cell surface receptor analog.
