A gypsum composition suitable for use in the manufacture of gypsum products
is provided. The gypsum composition includes gypsum, water, and a solid
dispersant comprising a supported acrylic/polyether comb-branched
copolymer. A method of making a gypsum composition is also provided. The
method includes mixing together, in any combination, gypsum, water, and a
solid dispersant comprising a supported acrylic/polyether comb-branched
copolymer.
