A system for the treatment of residential wastewater which comprises a
septic tank, a holding tank in fluid communication with the septic tank
and a reactor containing a plurality of media on which the wastewater is
sprayed, and cyclonic clarification means. The system is designed to
treat the wastewater such that it does not need to be passed to a
drainage field for final disposal.
