A transfix member comprising a heating member and a component film having a
surface layer and a polymer matrix layer, wherein the polymer matrix layer
contains a polymer and small molecules, and the polymer matrix layer is
designed to allow the small molecules to diffuse through the polymer
matrix to the surface layer upon the application of pressure or heat to
the component film.
