A lithographic printing plate precursor comprising a hydrophilic support and
an
image-forming layer containing a heat radical-generating agent, a polymethine dye,
and at least one component selected from fine particles containing a compound having
a radical polymerizable group and microcapsules encapsulating a compound having
a radical polymerizable group.
