Disclosed are topical compositions, including methods of applying those
compositions to absorb sweat and sebum from the skin, wherein the compositions
comprise (A) fluid-absorbent solids having a Water Absorption Value of at least
about 0.5 grams/gram; (B) an adhesive fluid; and (C) a liquid carrier; herein the
composition has an Average Wear Index Value of at least about 60%. The topical
compositions provide effective delivery and deposition of the fluid-absorbent solid
onto the skin from an extended wear composition.
