An emulsifier mixture comprising an emulsifier I of the formula

in which X is O, S, CH.sub.2, NH or NR.sup.7, one or two of the radicals
R.sup.1 to R.sup.6 are a group SO.sub.3.sup..crclbar. K.sup..sym. and the
remainder of R.sup.1 to R.sup.6 are H or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 alkyl group,
R.sup.7 is a C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 alkyl group and K is a countercation,
an emulsifier II of the formula
R.sup.8 --O--(Z-O).sub.n --SO.sub.3.sup..crclbar. K.sup..sym.
in which the variables have the following meanings:
R.sup.8 : C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 alkyl
Z: CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 or

n: an integer from 1 to 50
K: a cation,
and a nonionic emulsifier III.
