Disclosed are bilayer matrices of a polysaccharide such as collagen (COL)
and another polysaccharide such as hyaluronic acid (HA) with various COL/HA ratios.
Each layer has a porous structure. These materials are useful for tissue regeneration,
particularly when used with orthopedic implants and drug delivery.
