This application provides human H37 protein having an amino acid sequence of
SEQ ID NO: 1 or NO: 2; human gene encoding the protein; cDNA of the human gene
which has a base sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3 or NO: 4; DNA fragment comprising a partial
sequence of the cDNA; recombinant vector having the cDNA; antibody against human
H37 protein; and a method for controlling the proliferation of cells by introducing
the above DNA or antibody into the cells.
