Provided are Physalia fluorescent proteins (PFPs) and, more particularly,
to PFPs of a Physalia species, and methods of detecting and isolating PFPs.
Also provided are methods and compositions for using PFPs, including recombinant
PFPs, as reporter molecules in in vitro and in vivo biological assays, including
screening assays and cellular assays.
