A retractable horn cleat device with a seat body having a receiving cavity inside,
a retractable handle provided in the seat body and slidingly displaceable upward
and downward by the biasing action of two springs, and a coupling member connected
to the retractable handle and coupled to a track on a driving plate inside the
receiving cavity. The coupling member serves to guide the retractable handle along
the track thereby allowing a user to selectively lock the retractable handle in
either a retracted configuration or an unretracted configuration similar to a conventional
horn cleat.
