A wheel traveling and operating vehicle includes a tire wheel traveling apparatus
having axles in front and rear portions of a chassis frame body, an engine providing
a traveling power, and a transmission. The transmission is provided with a transmission
portion arranged so that an input shaft and an output shaft transverse an axis
(XX) in a vehicle longitudinal direction in parallel to each other at forward
and backward positions of the axis and a bevel gear output portion outputting a
tire wheel driving power to the output shaft toward a direction of the axis. The
input shaft of the transmission portion is connected to the engine horizontally
mounted to one side surface of right and left sides of the chassis frame body on
the same axis as the engine output shaft and the bevel gear output portion is connected
to front and rear tire wheel driving propeller shafts.
