A timer module for a compact printer system is provided. The timer module comprises
a body; a control system within the body that automates the capture of multiple
images by a camera module, the capture of each image being separated by a specific
time interval; and at least one connector incorporated in the body for connecting
the timer module to a bus. The bus provides power and data between the timer module
and the camera module. The bus is also connectable to a printer module.
