The invention relates to the use of a water-soluble paramagnetic
substance, in particular a magnetic resonance contrast medium, to reduce
the magnetic resonance relaxation time of a coolant for magnetic
resonance systems. Furthermore the invention relates to a corresponding
method for reducing the magnetic resonance relaxation time of a coolant.
