A phased array coil for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) system is
provided that includes a first coil, a second coil adjacent the first
coil, and a third coil adjacent the second coil. The first, second and
third coils are configured in a parallel arrangement in a left-right
direction of the MRI system.
