A computer system for accounting for transactions at casino gaming tables relies
upon data entry of the transaction at the gaming table by means of either a gaming
terminal or a gaming computer. One embodiment of the invention connects each of
the gaming terminals to a central computer. Another embodiment of the invention
networks each of the gaming computers to a central server and/or router. In another
embodiment, each gaming computer may act as a stand alone, non-networked device.
