An electrode system for reducing noise from an electronic signal, the system
including
an electrode that provides the electronic signal, and a sensor that senses motion
and provides a motion signal. The electrode system includes a controller that determines
a noise value based on an analysis of the motion signal, and subtracts the noise
value from the electronic signal. The electrode system can reduce or eliminate
motion artifact from an electronic signal that can result in misdiagnosis, prolong
procedural duration and inappropriate treatment of a patient.
