A method for updating multimedia feature information such as weight and reliability
is provided. The method according to the present invention first performs a multimedia
retrieval based on the previously used weight, receives one or more user feedback
on a relevance of the retrieval, calculates a performance of the present retrieval,
and updates reliability of the present multimedia feature in consideration of the
calculated retrieval performance. On the basis of the updated reliability, the
weight of the present multimedia feature is updated.
