An automatic debris removal system for screening an effluent stream. The automatic
debris removal system comprises a support frame positioned proximate the effluent
stream, a bucket positionably connected to the frame, and a camming system attached
to the support frame and the bucket. The bucket includes a screening portion and
is positionable within the effluent stream to screen and collect the debris. The
bucket is positionable within the support frame, and upon raising the bucket past
a selected position, the camming system causes the bucket to rotate and dump the
debris held therein.
