A linear motor having a reduced size, and capable of being manufactured at reduced
cost and having improved efficiency is provided. The linear motor includes a bobbin,
a plurality of coil groups wound on the bobbin, the coil groups have different
coil thickness, and a magnet linearly movable due to a magnetic field generated
by the coil groups.
