An article of footwear includes an air cushion sandwiched between an upper and
an outsole. The air cushion confines an air chamber and has a bottom wall formed
with a plurality of grooves that are respectively confined by groove-confining
walls and that extend inwardly of the air chamber. The outsole includes a plurality
of studs that respectively extend into the grooves and that are respectively bonded
to the groove-confining walls.
